Electropolishing
Electropolishing is an electrochemical process that removes material from a metallic workpiece, reducing surface roughness and enhancing appearance and corrosion resistance. At SEP, we use a comprehensive 7-tank process to achieve the best results.
Passivation
Passivation involves treating stainless steel with an acid solution to remove contaminants and enhance its natural protective oxide layer. This process improves corrosion resistance and is crucial for applications in the food, pharmaceutical, and aerospace industries.
Pickling
Pickling removes surface impurities, such as stains and inorganic contaminants, from stainless steel. It prepares the metal for subsequent passivation, ensuring optimal performance and longevity.
